Bay versus Bow Windows: What’s The Difference?
But before we do that, it’s important to know the difference between these types of windows.
A bay window is a three-sectioned window that bows outward. The center window is typically a picture window flanked by another style of window. Bay windows are also usually slanted at 45 or 90 degrees.
On the other hand, a bow window is an arc-shaped structure with at least four windows that are often casement windows, or windows that swing open from a hinge for insulation.
